This month we are spotlighting L&C Poitout

L&C Poitout is a winery in Chablis, France. Known for producing traditional, light, and racy white wines, primarily from the Chardonnay grape.

Their winemaking style is described as traditional, and their wines often feature notes of citrus, flint and minerals.

Bourgogne Pinot Noir $16/75
The supple and fresh entry accompanies a fruity, juicy and crunchy structure highlighted by the freshness of red and black fruits. The middle palate is mainly composed of clay and limestone, which brings fruitiness, saltiness and lastingness to the palate. The perfect maturity of the grapes brings a mellow texture to this wine. The delicate finish shows more character through an explosion of fruity and flower fragrances. Created from Pinot Noir, this cuvée is like our meetings: fruity and fragrant, tender and fresh, aromatic and ravishing.
Bourgogne Chardonnay $16/70
The palate is supple and fruity, highlighted by a lemon freshness. The middle palate is guided by the marly limestones that bring cleanness, iodic saltiness and a long lasting mouth. The wonderful maturity of the grapes echoes the richness of the stone that brings Chardonnay a beautiful aromatic power. The delightfully salted and iodised finish is delicate and reveals aromas of lemon zest and pomelo. Exclusively composed of Chardonnay, it is like our biggest reunions: balanced and powerful, intense and rich, enchanting and stimulating.
